Sergio Díez nació en un lugar de la mancha. Ciudad Real, España. Tras crecer en su ciudad como músico e interesado en toda expresión artística visual, descubrió la fotografía en bachillerato artístico al colarse en laboratorio de la escuela y quedó enganchado para siempre. Decidió profundizar en ella con dos años de estudios superiores en Albacete y tras algunos años de viajes y trabajos en diferentes sectores, se establece en Málaga para seguir explorarando el medio fotográfico y hacer crecer su mirada.
Le interesan las dificultades, la inestabilidad e incertidumbre de su tiempo. Amante del B/N y lo indefinido, explora el territorio como reflejo de si mismo y de los demas.
Atraido por el mundo de la edición y las publicaciones crea "Quieto Photo" como proyecto editorial independiente, centrado en visibilizar la fotografía conceptual emergente.

Sergio Díez was born in a place of La Mancha. Ciudad Real, Spain. After growing up in his hometown as a musician and interested in all visual artistic expression, he discovered photography in high school when he sneaked into the school's laboratory and was hooked forever. He decided to deepen in it with two years of higher education in Albacete and after some years of travel and work in different sectors, he settled in Malaga to continue exploring the photographic medium and grow his gaze.
He is interested in the difficulties, instability and uncertainty of his time. Lover of B/W and the undefined, he explores the territory as a reflection of himself and others.
Attracted by the world of publishing and publications, he created "Quieto Photo" as an independent editorial project, focused on making emerging conceptual photography visible.
